SXSW 2008

South by Southwest has released the initial list of bands playing this year. There are over 1500 so far. To help keep up with all the day parties, bands and news I've been following the following sites:

• www.donewaiting.com is a great site for all SXSW news.
• www.musicdaily.org has been posting a video per day of artists playing SXSW.
• In years past, http://newmusictipsheet.com has had the most comprehensive list of day shows I saw.
• The austinist has ongoing SWSW coverage.
• For the English perspective check out showburner.com.
• ShowListAustin is another great site for day show info.

At some point soon, I hope to have a good size list of bands to see.
